So I know I talked to all the x-Men about this and I'm pretty sure that Doug talked to his team, because he complained about having to define "DILF"

I got fucking nothing off any damn scent trails over at the school - just that Kimura chick and nobody else, which means either she was operating solo -or- whoever was there with her was good. I don't wanna think it's the second one but I can't rule it out.

Subject: Re the abrupt X-Jet departure yesterday

As most are probably aware, I keep several background alerts for any sort of content on the internet that might be relevant to the mansion, either in terms of threats or mutants in need of assistance.

Yesterday was something of a twofer - a video titled 'mutant vs men in black' popped up from a phone in rural Nebraska. It featured a young woman in a blind rage attacking what were clearly well trained and well-equipped professionals of some kind. As soon as the video popped up, I also became aware of a concerted effort to remove the video and any related content from public view.

Given the time constraint, and the fact the young woman had a very distinctive set of metal claws, I alerted Kyle to gather whoever he could so that we could assist. An impromptu team consisting of the two of us, Logan, Madin, Maya, and Rogue all departed in the jet to Nebraska immediately. Once on the ground, we found out that the effort to remove the video extended to a comprehensive jamming of all outbound signals from the area.

We encountered a number of dead bodies as well as an injured Dr. Sarah Kinney. We got her stabilized and made our way to an airfield where what I assume was Weapon X personnel were trying to abduct Laura Kinney. We fought our way to Laura and then evacuated with her and her mother and returned to the mansion.

In somewhat concerning though entirely predictable followup news, the location in Nebraska is completely free of any trace of the quasi-military incursion or any indication that anyone was violently attacked. Someone is being VERY thorough about covering their tracks.

Recently, Harvard removed a book bound in human skin. It, amazingly, is not magic or cursed in any way.

However, if they're going to start going through their collection and possibly removing books, there are at least three I've identified that we should absolutely get away from them because they are magic. It's not a high priority thing, they're not accessible to the public and they haven't been identified for review, but sooner rather than later would be good.

It is admittedly difficult to pick out real Slendermen sightings from the new Slenderman creepypasta of the week, but it would seem there's been an uptick of "suspicious people in suits" sightings in places you wouldn't expect to see them. I'm starting to think it might be time to do something about that world permanently.

Some of you know I was experiencing some powers-related trauma last winter. Yesterday we discovered that as a consequence of my recovery I've been bleeding psionic energy since mid-December. Dr. Grey has confirmed this has not affected anyone's thoughts, memories, or personality, but those with psionic or psi-adjacent mutations may have experienced disruptions or irregular power expressions. I've touched base with Professor Xavier and we've decided I'll be staying on Muir Island until we've arrived at a solution. In my absence any power abnormalities should resolve, although due to the inconsistent nature of both effects and severity there's no way to tell how long this might take.

I received a text from Maya, with a yellow post-it note that was apparently put into her boot during the battle with the Marauders...and Wade Wilson.

I've taken some time to look at footage of the battle in France. As best as I can put together, this 'En Sabah Nur' that turned Marius Laverne into his Horseman of Death also may have managed to get hold of Wade. He was released against the festival to kill and cause mayhem as a decoy and distraction from Clan Akkaba's true goals.

I suppose the saving grace is that Malice and the Marauders bit on the fake as well.

It would appear that the reason that I have not been able to find Wade recently in searches is that he has taken to wearing a red-and-black bodysuit with full facial coverage. Whatever has been done to him has clearly amplified nearly everything about him - for instance, he took damage that in the past would have rendered him unconscious while his healing factor kicked in, and just got right back up to keep fighting.

The most troubling aspect of this, though, is that when he put the post-it (which is a message to myself and Marie-Ange) in Maya's boot, there is a moment where he clearly recognizes her and stays a more lethal attack, which suggests that under whatever insanity has been induced in him by this, there is still a part of him that is the person we knew before.

I will make all the video and my notes available to all for analysis - I know I'm not exactly an unbiased observer where Wade is concerned.

Topaz is bringing noodles, and then I am probably going to resort to whatever will let me get some sleep tonight.

Forgive me for using my old access to address this here, but I wasn't sure where else to put it:

Arthur Centino is going to need additional assistance with his recovery.

When I take marrow it depletes the donor's physical reserves and natural immune response. In most cases full recovery is achieved within a few days, but if you then become ill or injured you're starting below par. Without appropriate medical support you can end up in a very deep hole indeed. At the very least a compromised immune system will leave him especially vulnerable to opportunistic infection.

Whilst my own preference for such situations is to simply borrow a healing factor I appreciate that this option is not available to everyone. I don't suppose anyone happens to be in contact with a healer? I know Clarice is on holiday, but they needn't even come here in person; that is a powerset with which I have had previous experience, and if they're willing to send a blood sample I can simply copy it. I will happily cover the cost of venipuncture and expedited shipping.

We've been monitoring a number of different sources connected to Clan Akkaba that suggest this Fête des Mutants taking place tomorrow outside of Avignon, France might be a target. We don't have any hard intel, but you might want to consider having the X-Men on standby or even there just incase.

I'll keep a long story short. The mutant plague, the deadly weather patterns including Hurricane Valentin, and the riot at District X were all the work of Radha Dastoor. She believed in an inevitable apocalypse, the Mahapralaya, and sought to hasten it so she could rule over the survivors, who would be saved by the personal bubble dimension that was her mutant power. Haven was a ruse to recruit adherents who would become her supplicants.

Of course a mutant haven was too good to be true. You'd be foolish to think otherwise.

Which is why I worked so closely with her over the last month. While she believed me to bolster Haven, materially and psychically, I ensured that without my support, it could not stand. I had the same misgivings as everyone else, and while I wanted to give her the opportunity to prove herself, I was prepared to stop her if she turned out to be a threat.

Staff of X-Factor Investigations recently traveled to a mutant separatist commune in Oregon established by an heiress named Radha Dastoor. While we were there on behalf of a client, we met several of the residents and explored the grounds. We were reasonably certain it was a legitimate operation, though we agreed it would be wise to monitor them.

One of the wilder allegations we heard was that Radha can cure a wide variety of maladies. Such as the media-dubbed "mutant plague" that has been afflicting our community. When Inez Temple exhibited symptoms earlier this week and our medical team failed to treat her, I had her brought to the commune. I'm pleased to say that these claims are true, and Inez is expected to make a full recovery.

While Inez is convalescing under the care of actual medical professionals, I have remained at the commune to speak more in depth with Radha and learn about her philosophy. While some of her precepts are unusual, I think overall she is legitimate and wants to build a better world for mutants, just as many of us do.

I plan to travel to the commune regularly to improve our relationship with them, and possibly to integrate them into the Underground as a destination for mutants who have nowhere else to go. I believe several residents already have some ties. They may also be a source of vital intel for us, particularly if anyone has encountered competing elements on their way to Radha.

I am providing this information to the other teams as a courtesy, so one team does not leave the others in the dark about concerning goings-on.

Hey, guys - anybody know any details about the stuff in Seattle with the warehouse explosion that's not been in the news? I'm getting real tired of seeing the same footage on loop while the talking heads start spinning in circles talking about how it's potentially an example of rising mutant aggression.

I know this definitely not within the scope of eXcalibur's mission, but man. Man. It's no surprise FOX news is running the crazy train, but even like CBS and the other local channels are starting to spout some of that rhetoric.

Some of you may remember former resident Jessica Jones from a few years ago. Yesterday Dominion and Phoenix ran into her on a recon mission involving the Brotherhood. During this encounter Jessica became injured, so she was brought back to the mansion for assessment. While assessing her injuries we discovered evidence of significant psychic tampering.

It turns out that when Jessica arrived at the mansion in 2014 she was acting at the behest of a telepath who wanted to keep tabs on the mansion. What we were up to, whether he was on our radar, that sort of thing. He pulled her out after M-Day because he didn't see a point in wasting a resource here any longer.

I've cleaned up the damage, and Phoenix and I are monitoring her recovery to ensure there are no after-effects. She also needs time to heal from her physical injuries. She may be here for a while. Please be aware her memory of the last few years may be blurry.

The telepath influencing her isn't someone we've encountered before. He can influence a large number of people at once, and the influence persists even outside of his immediate vicinity. For prolonged manipulation he seems to need to touch base with the victims every 2-5 weeks. The effect still lasts long enough to be dangerous.

Not sure how old he is -- mid-40s, possibly early 50s. He's had time to accumulate experience. Expensive tastes, but more bespoke creations than brands. Favors the color purple. Wears Clive Christian Original Collection NO1. You'll recognize it as one of the most disgusting things you've ever smelled in your life. He never pays for anything himself, but there wasn't much else that could be used to trace him.

I've attached a sketch of his face and more detail on his physical characteristics.

His name is Zebediah Kilgrave.

Hello, Tuesday. You feel like a Monday and I do not approve.

In necessary updates:

We've had a few quiet missions over the last month, but nothing exciting beyond what was in the mission reports. Dealing with the construction crew demoing while attempting to go on the missions was the most hectic part and I'm not sure that made it into the reports, though.

Thanks to everyone who played distraction by bringing down "catered" lunches for the crew to get them out of the way. Your assistance was/is much appreciated and if you'll let me know your favorite liquor, I'll leave a bottle outside your door sometime in the coming week.

Also, thank you to all the senior members of the teams and medical for coming around to check over the final blueprints for the renovations to the Chapel. Your input was seriously helpful and we managed to work in most of the suggestions for security as well as containment of potential hostiles, isolation suites in case of another exposure to an exotic virus/bacteria/illness of some kind, and managed to figure out the underground tunnel situation. You're all amazing.

Coffee's on me at the next information exchange/update.

In light of the recent, thankfully non-fatal, outbreak of an interdimensional virus here at the mansion as well as it's uncontrolled spread beyond the Chapel and the MedLab, eXcalibur is going to be shutting down the majority of non-essential work that goes on in the Chapel while we plan and then begin renovations to increase safety and security for the team as well as the mansion at large.

To that end, all scientific experimentation, lab work, studies, etc will be carried out in the mansion's main labs and we will be transitioning our offices into the branch of the mansion currently housing the Xavier Institute. Personnel in the Chapel will be kept to a minimum (ie: only the person monitoring the wormhole) while construction is underway. This will, of course, be temporary, however, please keep our new locations in mind should you have need of any of us.

The Xavier Institute has been kind enough to hire the same construction company that managed the Chapel's first set of major renovations for what we have coming up next. These new renovations will include an increase in security around the portal (threat analysis, containment, etc) in case someone or something drops out of the portal (like April did) as well as beefed up biological protective measures beyond those currently utilized in the mansion.

The spread of the Chimera virus highlighted the need for eXcalibur to have its own decontamination system along with isolation and quarantine protocols. We were lucky. Very lucky. Everything turned out fine, everyone got their powers back, and nobody died. We might not be so lucky next time.

The renovations are also going to include negative pressure rooms to combat airborne pathogens, quarantine pods, specific isolation procedures, and a miniaturized medical station that can be manned by any medical staff available and capable of assisting with any injuries sustained during the course of an away mission. This will prevent eXcalibur from having to go through the mansion with an injured, potentially infectious teammate.

If you have questions, suggestions, or concerns regarding what happened with the Chimera virus or eXcalibur's plans to continue renovating the Chapel to meet the team's specific needs, please let me or someone else on the team know. We want to make sure that we're as transparent about our intentions to keep everyone at the mansion safe as we can be.

We've lost a drone on the other side of the wormhole. It made full contact/connection earlier today and we've been doing our usual recon to determine if we need to interfere over there. We've got GPS for the drone and the last of its footage before it was disabled, so we're going through that with a fine-toothed comb to see if there's a specific reason/cause. We'll keep you guys updated.

We're Mission Go as of tomorrow, late morning. Again, we'll keep everyone in the loop.

We have some guesses as to what's causing the bizarre fluctuations in the anomaly itself, but nothing solid. Databases will update as we gather more information on the other side.

Just a heads up. As of yesterday, the Snow Valley offices are closed until the 28th. Thanks to being funded by a billionaire who enjoys the finer things in life, most of us will be spending some or all of that time at a private resort in the warm Caribbean. Emergency contact protocols are in place if you absolutely need to get in touch with any of us.
