That group in Hamburg, Germany, that we have been keeping an eye on for their part in smuggling magical items has suddenly had a large burst of activity after remaining relatively quiet. As discussed earlier, I'll be leaving in the morning and will most likely be only be reachable through a few ways, though will check in on a regular basis per protocol.

We lost Quentin Quire last night. We've been working quietly to notify those he was close with before I made this report.

Last night at the Snow Valley offices, I was assisting Amanda with a spell she was trying in the wake of what happened in the Medlab last week. Things went south when Quentin showed up, more than a little possessed by the thing that had gone after Jean.

And of course we had Stephen and Illyana in the room as Amanda had needed more assistance than I could bring.

During the psi fight, I managed to get Stephen and Illyana out so I didn't see the end of the fight between the psionics but...

Quentin managed to regain enough control and, apparently, decided the only way to stop the entity possessing him was to sacrifice himself.

No other major injuries, physical at least.

(For my team, please avoid the one office with a hole in the wall and a broken window until I can get contractors in to fix it. It's not hard to miss.)

We've been keeping close tabs on them these past few weeks, both in-house and on the ground by having Artie go undercover during that time as a homeless mutant. They've had a few different places we've staked out but we believe that we've narrowed down the one that they've been using - there's been far more activity there over the last few days. Considering the intel we were able to piece together on their activities in the cities they were in before, I believe they're pulling out.

We need to put together a team and hit them soon before they take those people with them and we lose the trail.

Artie, I know you must be thinking fond thoughts towards your shower but can you get yourself, ah, 'snatched' and act as our eyes on the inside?

Also, we're not the only ones interested in this group. Our lucky friend has been spotted skulking around - and skulking rather well - the same areas. I won't be surprised if we don't stumble over each other soon. Perhaps we should finally stop just keeping an eye on her and have that conversation?

(Well. That sounds creepy. Let's try not to be so creepy when we talk to her?)

I have no idea if this is even active anymore or if anyone is still watching after the teams were dissolved but this is probably the best way to get this out there.

While I was travelling back to the mansion, Lorna Dane reached out to me. As all of you know, Lorna's my half sister - as most of the team knew, she's been acting as a mole in Magneto's Brotherhood for us for some time. It had suddenly come to light that there was a mole and Lorna figured it was only a matter of time before they realized it was her.

She got to one of the safe houses we had set up for a situation just like this and I was able to re-arrange my connecting flight so I could grab her. We're at the airport and so far there's been no sign of trouble.

But this is the Brotherhood and ... I can only imagine the anger that will result in Magneto finding out Lorna was spying. Regardless of teams being disbanded, this was something everyone needed to know, especially if something happens between California and New York.

Ten minutes until boarding. We'll hopefully be home stupidly early after this red eye.
