X-Force - Genosha

I'm back, but I left Cammie back in Genosha setting up our contacts and such. Our mutate friends were all de-mutated and have gone back to normal lives - thank fuck the process doesn't let them remember what went on - and the various "entertainment" are being resettled where needed, with all the appropriate counselling and medical treatment. Fucking rich wankers certainly had their "fun".

Thanks for the list of names, Kevin. We got in touch with most of them, and where they're particularly sensitive, we've set up third party contacts so Cammie's look doesn't give the game away. I'll be plugging everything into the database once I've gotten my giant sweet coffee with the whipped cream and sprinkles.

X-Force Only

I just talked to Topaz and she mentioned something strange going on over in India with disappearing girls - and no bodies. It could be nothing, but I wanted to take a small group over to check things out any way. And maybe see if Topaz is ready to come home.

The Atlantean in the basement

I was going to send an email, but then I remembered we're all on this thing together.

So, our visitor in the medlab. Initial talk seems to indicate he's an actual Atlantean - does anyone mind if I have a chat to him about who he is and what his intentions are? I'd rather avoid another magical-related catastrophe, and he's apparently linked to the staff we took from Tandy's guardian demon a couple of years ago. I figure we can kill two birds with one stone - I grill him on the magic side, and one of the leather brigade do the safety speech?

Also, what's with this Clint bloke? What's his interest in all this? And how much can we trust him?

New Acquisition

Just a head's up, Wanda and I have gotten hold of the pointy trident thing our new visitor was hanging onto for grim death - Cecilia passed it onto us as a potential hazard. And, as a bonus, it's pinging my magic sense, so whoever this bloke is, he's not your average mutant in need. We'll be hanging onto this thing in the safe room at the office until we can work out how dangerous it is. But I will say the power signature is vaguely familiar - it's the same as Tandy's demon-repelling staff from a couple of years ago.

Boots on.

North, Jubes and Wade, we have a job. Someone's selling off a list of US politicians' personal details, up to and including their kids' shoe sizes and, what makes things even more fun, mutant status. The data's on a ship travelling to Reykjavik. We'll be intercepting.

Coincidence, my arse

Anyone else seeing something suspicious in the news lately?

All anti-mutant targets, all mysteriously fucked with. I'm pretty sure if I can notice it, others can too, and that could mean some kind of messy backlash against the handiest, most visible mutant population. Like District X. X-Factor folks, you might want to keep ears to the ground and eyes peeled and all that.

Edit: Someone might want to talk to Longshot - this is his sort of thing, isn't it? Lucky accidents?
